How the site makes money

Some outbound links are affiliate links, and a partner may pay a commission when a stay begins on one of them. Separately, every direct stay at the resort benefits its owner, who is also our publisher. Both facts are explained on the affiliate disclosure page.

How the review is written and checked

Staff who know the property draft each section from first-hand experience of the resort and its surroundings. Facilities are cross-checked against what is operating now, public sources are used for places nearby, and anything we cannot confirm is marked for you to ask the hotel. We do not publish prices, invented guest comments, grades or awards.

The two alternative hotels are other owners' properties. We describe them in general terms and link to their own websites.
